A very good evening I would like to wish my readers! :). How is everyone doing on this fine Wednesday evening? All good i hope! :). I hope you guys enjoyed reading my previous posts cause certainly did enjoy blogging about it. My post title, TAB TO THE OOOOOO, some of you may think what is that?.
Well thats why I'm here this evening to share my experience with you guys here with a game that I recently played during my Media Appreciation lecture last week on Tuesday courtesy of my lecture, Mr Hardip!. Sir, if you are reading this, this may seem a little random but I would like to take some time here to say that you are an awesome lecture and I'm sure all of us in FICM would agree on that. Just ask anyone, they would tell you the exact same thing I have said here :).
So, last week on Tuesday, we were suppose to have a tutorial class but instead we had something different instead where it became a lecture instead. Some of us were wondering how come it suddenly became a lecture as only my group, group 2 were suppose to have tutorials. When we got to class, we were informed by Mr Hardip that we will be playing a game called....
When we were told that we were going to play this game, I was excited and a little clue-less as I have never played this game before nor heard of how it was played. We were split into two groups where we would compete against each other to guess out the words on the cards. The rules of the game was briefed as not only myself has not played this game before. The aim of this game is very simple BUT it tests how fast your minds works on guessing out words on the cards. There would be one person from each group that would be saying like describing actions about the card and the group has to get what it is. If one of the team mates from the group manages to guess the word out from the card, the group would get one point. As the sole purpose of this game is to see how fast an individuals mind can process, each group is only given a minute to guess out the word on the card!
I was in the second group and group one was the first to get the ball rolling. The first person to read out the card is Isaac of group one! My oh my, he is really good at reading out the card and making his group guess out the answers. They were in the lead by two points to my group to none. As the game went on, it became more and more intense as both teams were battling out to see who would out beat the other. Before i knew it, it was my turn to go up and read the card to make my group guess the word. I was having this nervous face expression when it was my turn to go up!.
My nervousness got the better of me and I did not manage to get the words on the card right which led to my team losing out points to the other group. On the other hand, I had loads of fun playing that game and it also made me understand myself better to be honest. It made me understand that my mind does not work in a blink of an eye and my mind would need more time to process the information given. I really do take my hats off to my friends who has really fast thinking skills and they are able to read the word out so that their group could guess it right. Well, I guess no one is perfect in this world and everyone has their strengths and weaknesses as well as their errors. This game no doubt serves as an eye opener to know the strengths and weaknesses of our minds and how we could improve so that we are able to think out solutions fast!.
Well, last but not least I would like thank our lecturer, Mr Hardip for letting us experience the fun and thrills of playing this game. We certainly did had a lot of fun and it definitely served as a mind opener to all of us on how fast our mind works to think our answers and to solve problems. That is all for now! Cheers! :)
